Description
WETA Workshop The Lord of the Rings Trilogy Skull of a Fell Beast Polystone Statue
WETA Workshop was intrinsically involved in the design and physical effects manufacture for all three films of The Lord of the Rings™ trilogy.
It takes hundreds of hours to design, sculpt, model make, mold, and paint the prototype for each new Middle-earth piece. Whether it be a prop replica, beautiful environment, or iconic character, we treat our collectibles with the same level of care and attention to detail that we bring to our film work.
The elongated, reptilian skull of the Fell Beast, the fearsome mount of the Nazgûl™, reveals a creature of nightmarish proportions.
The irregular dentition of sharp teeth and extensive cranial ridges suggest a predator of incredible ferocity. The lightweight, yet strong bone structure points to an adaptation for flight. This specimen is especially illuminating, given the dark, eerie presence these beasts cast over Middle-earth’s skies.
