To celebrate the franchise’s 40th anniversary, Mondo in partnership with WaterTower Music offers expanded 2XLP editions of the first three films in the series. The first disc features the soundtrack album in its original configuration, with the second disc compiling the rest of the film’s themes and audio cues, many of which have never been released on vinyl.  

 

The music of Elm Street is a huge part of the series, each film having it’s own unique sound and feel. Charles Bernstein created the original score and Freddy’s Main Theme that was used throughout the series. Christopher Young (HELLRAISER) supplied the score to Part Two and takes the themes down a more orchestral route layering sounds upon sounds to create a truly scary listen.
